Description
Inclusion workers will support and provide program accommodations for participants in City of Kitchener camps. An Inclusion Worker may assist by providing program modifications and adaptations, redirection for safety reasons, opportunities for sensory or emotional breaks, and assisting with personal care need. The goal is a rewarding camp experience where the participant is safe and set up for success. An
inclusion membership is required to register.
Note: By registering into the inclusion support program, you are requesting an inclusion support staff to attend camp with your child/youth. Please remember to also register for your camp of choice. If this program is full, please select a different week or register on to the waitlist. Due to volume of requests, each participant is eligible for up to two weeks of 1:1 Inclusion Support each summer.
