Sunday Funday Fitness Mix A Sunday afternoon fitness series rotating through a variety of class styles and instructors. It’s a great opportunity to try different workouts, keep your routine fresh, and discover new ways to stay active in a fun, welcoming environment. March 1 & April 19 Functional Mobility with Michelle Martins This mobility class improves strength, balance, and range of motion through multi-joint movements that strengthen muscles and support joints, helping the body move more efficiently in everyday activities. ***April 19 class will start at 3:05 p.m. instead of the regular start time.*** March 8 Zumba Rush with Karthika Jayakumar Feel the rush in 50 minutes of high-energy Zumba. This fast-paced class blends nonstop beats with cardio-focused, full-body movement to raise your heart rate, delivering a fun, sweat-filled workout that feels more like a dance party. March 22 & April 12 Rock Solid with Kelli Saunders This class builds core strength and balance through bodyweight, resistance equipment, and TRX training. Challenging balance improves confidence and everyday stability while strengthening abdominal and back muscles essential for movement and overall functional balance. March 29 & April 26 Gentle Hatha Stretch with Nicole Perron Gentle, beginner-friendly Hatha yoga with guided foundational poses focusing on alignment, breath, and mindful movement. Longer holds and modifications build strength and confidence, finishing with gentle stretching and relaxation so participants leave refreshed and grounded. Single-class registrations and drop-ins must be completed in person through the Recreation Centre Front Desk. Pricing Members (3-, 6-, or 12-month memberships): Free Non-members: $7 per class when registering for the full block (discounted) or regular drop-in rate Group Fitness Packages: Accepted All participants are required to check in at the Front Desk prior to class.
