Kenora Cricket League July 2026

The Kenora Cricket League is a City-facilitated, community-supported recreational cricket league that provides organized gameplay, balanced teams, regular season standings, playoffs, umpiring support, and championship prizes. Played using a modified T10 heavy tennis-ball cricket format at Rec Small, the league is designed for players of all skill levels, whether you are new to the game or an experienced cricketer looking for organized competition. Players register individually and are assigned to teams to promote balanced and competitive play.

Players can take advantage of the $50 Early Bird registration rate until Thursday, July 9 at 3:00 p.m., after which the regular registration fee is $60 per player. Teams will be formed from all players registered by the Early Bird deadline, with rosters created to balance experience, skill level, and player availability. Team assignments and league information will be emailed to registered participants by 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, allowing players to prepare for opening night.

The regular season runs throughout July and features a three-team league structure, with each team playing four regular season games. Games are scheduled at Rec Small on Monday and Friday evenings and are approximately 90 minutes in length.

The regular season schedule includes:

• Friday, July 10 – 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

• Monday, July 13 – 9:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

• Friday, July 17 – 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

• Monday, July 20 – 9:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

• Friday, July 24 – 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

• Monday, July 27 – 9:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The season concludes on Friday, July 31 with both playoff games taking place on the same evening. The second- and third-place teams will compete in a play-in game from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with the winner advancing to the Championship Final from 9:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Championship prizes will be awarded following the conclusion of the final game.

Registration includes field bookings, main umpire fees, league administration and facilitation, scheduling, standings, player communication, equipment coordination, playoffs, and championship prizes. Full league rules, team rosters, schedules, and season information will be emailed directly to all registered participants before league play begins.
