Description
Children age 6 - 12 learn how to be safe around water and increase swimming ability, fitness and endurance through fun activities. Children MUST be 6 years of age on the FIRST day of lessons.
Swimmers will learn to:
1) Stride entry into deep water
2) Compact jump in to deep water
3) Legs only surface support for 45 seconds
4) Swim underwater for 10m to recover an object
5) Eggbeater of back 15m
6) Scissor kick 15m
7) Breaststroke 50m
8) Front crawl and back crawl 100m each
9) Head up swim 25m
10) Interval training 4 x 25m breaststroke with 30 seconds rest
11) Sprint 25m breaststroke
12) Workout 300m
