Description
Children age 6 - 12 learn how to be safe around water and increase swimming ability, fitness and endurance through fun activities. Children MUST be 6 years of age on the FIRST day of lessons.
Swimmers will learn to:
1) Shallow dive
2) Tuck jump
3) Tread water 2 minutes
4) Stationary eggbeater for 30 seconds
5) Back somersault in water
6) Breaststroke 25m
7) Front crawl and back crawl 50m each
8) Head up front crawl 10m
9) Interval training 4 x 50m of front or back crawl with 30 seconds rest
10) 4 x 15m of breaststroke with 30 seconds rest
11) Sprint 25m of front crawl and back crawl
