Description
Children age 6 - 12 learn how to be safe around water and increase swimming ability, fitness and endurance through fun activities. Children MUST be 6 years of age on the FIRST day of lessons.
Swimmers will learn to:
1) Kneeling dive in to deep water
2) Forward roll entry in to deep water
3) Tread water for 30 seconds
4) Handstand in shallow water
5) Front somersault in water
6) Flutter kick on back 5m, reverse direction and flutter kick on front for 5m
7) Whip kick on back 10m
8) Front crawl and back crawl 15 meters each
9) Interval training 4 x 15m flutter kick with 20 seconds rest
