Description
Children age 6 - 12 learn how to be safe around water and increase swimming ability, fitness and endurance through fun activities. Children MUST be 6 years of age on the FIRST day of lessons.
Swimmers will learn to:
1) Jump in to deep water, return and exit
2) Sideways entry wearing a PFD
3) Tread water 15 seconds
4) Recover objects from the bottom of the pool in chest deep water
5) Flutter kick on front, back, and side for 10 meters each
6) Whip kick in a vertical position
7) Front crawl and back crawl for 10 meters each
8) Interval training 4 x 5m of flutter kick with 20 seconds rest
