Description

Join us for an informative and engaging program designed to help parents and children build safe, positive relationships with dogs. This interactive session will teach families how to confidently and safely interact with both family pets and unfamiliar dogs.
Topics covered include:
-Understanding how dogs communicate
-The do’s and don’ts around dogs
-Building strong bonds between children and their dog(s)
-Rules and expectations for children around dogs
-How children should properly greet a dog
-What to do if a loose dog approaches a child-Safety strategies if a stranger dog becomes aggressive or attacks

This program is perfect for families with children who want to learn practical dog safety skills while encouraging respectful and positive interactions with animals.

Registration includes up to three participants per family: either one adult and two children, or two adults and one child.
