Description
Kids in the Kitchen is a hands on class for children and caregivers to explore food and develop food literacy together. Children will get to take the lead preparing child-friendly recipes to help them learn food skills and pave the way for healthy habits.
Participants will make portions for themselves to enjoy as well as extras to package and drop off at the Troy Scott Community Fridges.
Recipes: Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Parfaits and Jerk Chicken Tacos.
*Recipe allergen list: chicken, wheat, dairy and nuts.
Parent/guardian attendance is mandatory.
