Description
Try a new recipe, challenge your cooking skills, and connect with others in Cooking Up Community! In this program, participants will learn how to prepare simple, balanced meals that incorporate key nutrients to optimize health while aging. Participants will cook a meal as a group in the Horodynsky Community Kitchen, and then sit down and enjoy it together! They will also help package and distribute leftovers to the Troy Scott Community Fridges.
Cooking Up Community Group B occurs at 11:00 am on the third week/third Wednesday of the month.
Recipe(s): Deconstructed Egg Roll in a Bowl, Jerk Chicken and Chocolate Dipped Strawberries.
*Recipe allergens list: Chicken, soy and nuts.
Groups A and B are different sections of the same program so we can offer it to more participants. Please only sign up for one of Cooking Up Community Group A or B to allow more people to register.
