Skating - Intermediate Age 6+

This program is designed for the skater that has completed the Beginner Learn to Skate program, has been recommended by the coach or who is proficient in all forward and backward skating skills along with stopping. The skills learned are more advanced such as backward crossovers, edges and turns and various types of stopping. Those who are unsure can register for the Beginner program and will be evaluated by the coach before moving into this program. No Parent participation required.

All skaters MUST wear a CSA approved hockey helmet with cage, waterproof but not bulky clothing, waterproof gloves) and skates (Plastic snap skates are not recommended)
