Description
The Cole Harbour Youth Ops program will meet every Tuesday from 6:00-8:00. There will be additional opportunities for youth to volunteer in our children's recreation and skating programs.
Youth Ops Programs are designed for youth who want to make a positive impact in their communities while building confidence and leadership skills through fun, engaging, and hands-on experiences. These programs are intended for youth who are currently in grades 7-9.
Opportunities vary by location, but participants can expect to:
• Volunteer alongside recreation staff to support safe, inclusive, and engaging programs
• Take part in interactive training sessions that develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
• Connect with peers through social and team-building activities
• Gain meaningful experience by participating in community initiatives and special events
