Description
Learn the basics of musical improvisation in a relaxed, supportive group setting. This class is designed for beginners and focuses on listening, rhythm, simple note choices, and building confidence playing with others. Participants will explore easy groove-based exercises and guided jams using their instrument of choice. No improvisation experience is required, just a willingness to experiment, make mistakes, and have fun making music together.
Participants are required to bring an instrument. Loan options may include Halifax Public Libraries and local musical instrument retail stores.
