Description
The Swim for Life Instructor course provides candidates with the essential skills and knowledge to become certified swimming instructors. Through a combination of classroom and pool sessions, participants will learn effective teaching techniques, stroke development, and how to work with children of varying ages and swimming abilities. To enroll, candidates must be 15 years old by the last day of the course and hold both a Bronze Cross and Intermediate Workplace First Aid certification. The last 3 days are dedicated to practice teaching, hours may differ than scheduled and will be discussed and agreed upon by candidates and the course instructor. 100% attendance mandatory for entire course.
