Swim for Life Instructors

Prerequisite: 15 years of age (by the end of the course); Bronze Cross (need not be current)The Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor course prepares the instructor to teach and evaluate the swimming strokes and related skills found in the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life program. Candidates acquire proven teaching methods, planning skills, and a variety of stroke development drills and correction techniques. 100% course attendance is required. Practice teaching hours may be required after the course is complete. Cancellations requested 7 days or more prior to the first day of the program qualify for a refund. The refund will be processed for the full amount of the fee paid, minus an administrative charge of 10%. Cancellations requested less than 7 days prior to the first day of the program do not qualify for a refund or credit.
