Description
The goal of this course is to reinforce and integrate basic drawing skills with an exploration of the techniques of visual narrative. Students will be introduced to the elements of plot and visual storytelling, with an emphasis on panel composition, page-layout and story-pacing. Examples of comics, graphic novels and storyboards will be provided to inspire students and supplement the instruction. All levels of drawing are welcome. Participants are required to bring regular pencils, a pencil sharpener, an eraser, and an 8x11 or larger sketchpad.
