Bronze Cross & Intermediate Workplace First Aid

Prerequisites: Bronze Medallion; Basic Workplace First Aid (need not be current). Bronze Cross & Intermediate Workplace First Aid begin the transition from lifesaving to lifeguarding and prepares candidates for responsibilities as assistant lifeguards. Candidates strengthen and expand their lifesaving skills and begin to apply the principles and techniques of active surveillance in aquatic facilities. Bronze Cross emphasizes the importance of teamwork and communication in preventing and responding to aquatic emergencies. Registration includes books and exam fees. 100% attendance is required for certification. Cancellations requested 7 days or more prior to the first day of the program qualify for a refund. The refund will be processed for the full amount of the fee paid, minus an administrative charge of 10%. Cancellations requested less than 7 days prior to the first day of the program do not qualify for a refund or credit.
