Description
In this course you will receive one on one attention for a self directed project. It's good for our teacher, Tera Nova, to see what you are capable of without help prior to providing some guidance. Our teacher really wants everyone to develop their own style instead of just adopting theirs. Students usually bring photos to work from or occasionally objects to build a still life. Choose something that excites you. Adults will learn the basics of drawing such as shape, shading form etc. using pencil, charcoal and pastels. Suggested material list for your first day: Pencils, Sketch book (or paper), Inspiration (still life, objects to draw, photo references, etc.), Charcoal. Supplies can be purchased at local art supply stores.
