Description

The scope of the program is to educate and certify youth, aged 14 and 15, who are interested in using the City of Greater Sudbury gym and fitness facilities. The main purpose of this program is to teach the participants how to exercise SAFELY and to ensure that they are familiar with all rules and etiquette associated with using the fitness facilities. As well, it is our goal to teach kids the value of fitness and nutrition, providing them with the proper tools to reach their goals. Giving the students a firm foundation at this age can help set the stage for healthier, more active, young adults, that could have a lasting, positive impact, well into their later years.
