Description
These preschoolers will learn to jump into shallow water by themselves, and get in and get out of the pool while wearing a Personal Flotation Device. They will submerge and exhale underwater. The preschoolers will also learn to swim with a buoyant aid; more specifically they will work on moving through the water kicking their feet while on their front and back. The City of Greater Sudbury is affiliated with the LifeSaving Society. Prerequisite: Be 3 years old prior to the first class and be comfortable in the water (up to 5 years old), completed Preschool 1 or be evaluated at a Recreational Swim (please contact facility).
