Description

Have you heard the buzz about pollinators? Bring the family and join a Stanley Park Ecology educator to learning about the incredible diversity of native bees and how to support them in your garden. Through hands-on activities and kid-friendly games, we’ll explore what makes native pollinators so important, how they live in our local ecosystems, and take a close-up look at real bee specimens. Plus, we’ll learn what we can do to support pollinators in our neighbourhoods and finish the session with a craft to make our very own “Pollinator Garden” sign to put in a yard or laneway at home. Age range: Aimed at families and kids but all ages 5+ are welcome.
