Description
Join multi-disciplinary Artist and Activist Sara Ross to weave a small tapestry on the theme of Earth. All instruction and materials will be provided, including a box loom and gorgeous, locally sourced, soft-fibre weaving materials. Beginner to advanced weavers welcome. Participants can take their weaving home or contribute it to become part of the Earth Blanket, being prepared as a gift to Ye-Ye (Grandmother), and becoming part of Honouring Our Grandmothers Healing Journey.
The Community Elements Chest, part of Honouring Our Grandmothers Healing Journey, is on display at the museum from July 4 - September 19.
