Description

This course is designed to teach foundation knowledge and instructor skills to successfully lead a basic aquatic fitness exercise class. Topics include bio mechanical principles of water, music selection, basic movements, lesson planning, choreography and exercise safety. 24 CEC's Practice opportunities in shallow and deep water are provided so students experience firsthand the difference of exercising in the water at various depths. Pre-requisite: Completion of an approved Fitness Knowledge course or equivalent. Approved for BCRPA registration and CFES certification.
