Calling all reading buffs! We are looking for members of Kennedy who would like to go to Hellings Elementary school to read to the students! The school has 9 classes that would love to have a member come and sit down and read to them. Each volunteer will be placed with a class that you will work with for the remainder of the program, giving you and the students the opportunity to get to know each other. The program will run the 1st Wednesday of the month. If you need transportation or would like to walk with other volunteers, the meeting location will be at Kennedy at 9am. Please pre-register at the front desk. All volunteers must have a completed Criminal Record Check. Call Kennedy for more information at 604-594-2717.
