Get your hands dirty and learn all about the plants that grow in Delta in this full day camp at the Douglas J. Husband Discovery Centre. This hands-on camp will teach you farming basics and get you started growing vegetables and other plants. We’ll split our time between learning about Delta’s farming heritage with fun games and activities in the galleries and exploring and gardening outside. Campers will also get to go on a fieldtrip to Kirkland House - our nearby Heritage House with a rich farming history,
Please wear clothes you are happy getting dirty and covered shoes for outside. Please bring a spare pair of inside shoes, a hat, sunscreen, nut-free lunch and snacks, and water.
Refund Policy: One week’s notice for full refund must be provided. If less than one week’s notice is given, 50% of the fee will be refunded. If notice is given on or after the start date of the program, no refund will be provided.
