Description
Delicate linework and washes of watercolour will be explored in this session as we dive into the archives of John James Audubon to recreate the ethereal beauty of Cuvier’s Kinglet (Plate 55). This particular illustration is a masterclass in balance: the structural precision of the bird and the soft, geometric clusters of the Mountain Laurel. Students will learn how to use a "pen-first" approach to define their illustrations before bringing them to life with watercolor. All materials included.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If a participant chooses to cancel their confirmed registration or cannot or does not attend the workshop the following refunds will apply:
1. The registered participant may invite another person to substitute their place in the workshop at any time for no charge.
2. If notice is received 7 days before the scheduled workshop date a 50% refund will be offered.
3. If notice is received less than 7 days before the scheduled workshop date no refund will be offered.
4. Please note, these classes are for adults and mature teens.
*In the unlikely event that the workshop is cancelled by the studio all confirmed participants will be notified and receive a full refund.
