Description

Focuses on basic movements and orientation ability needed for swimming strokes, such as arm action, sculling, and breathing. To enter Stage 2, children must swim in the deep-water freestyle and backstroke through the deep water. The coach does not go in the water. Pre-requisite: Ages 7 – 10 years old; completion of Stage 1 or Swimmer 3; comfortable in deep water. In partnership with the Hyack Swim Club.
