Description
Complete your training in a condensed format! The Swim & Lifesaving Instructor/Examiner Combo course prepares candidates for leadership roles as Lifesaving Society Swim Instructors, and Lifesaving Instructors & Examiners. Candidates are trained in, and must demonstrate skills, knowledge, and attitudes at a Competency Level 1 and Level 2 to achieve certification. Candidates must pass a skill and stroke screening to achieve certification.
Prerequisites: Bronze Cross (need not be current) and Standard First Aid w/ CPR-C/AED (need not be current)

**Full attendance is strongly recommended. Any absence is approved at the instructor’s discretion
This program is delivered in partnership with the Lifesaving Society BC & Yukon. As an affiliate, the City of Coquitlam offers programs and awards in accordance with the Lifesaving Society’s standards and policies. Candidate information, including name, date of birth, contact details, and course results, will be shared with the Lifesaving Society for certification and award processing in accordance with the Lifesaving Society’s Privacy Policy and applicable legislation.
