Celebrate June is Recreation and Parks Month (JRPM) and National Health and Fitness Day with a guided Family Hike through the forest. This instructor‑led walk is a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, be active together, and connect with nature while recognizing the important role that recreation and physical activity play in healthy communities.The hike will include a gentle group warm‑up, a guided walk along a relatively flat forest trail, and a cool‑down at the end. The route is suitable for all ages and fitness levels; however, uneven terrain and natural trail features may make the hike challenging for strollers. Strollers are not advised.All ages are welcome, and participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for outdoor conditions and wear comfortable walking shoes. Please bring water with you.This is an outdoor activity and will be cancelled in the event of rain or inclement weather.This free program is offered in celebration of June is Recreation and Parks Month and National Health and Fitness Day, a Canada‑wide initiative encouraging people of all ages to enjoy the benefits of physical activity.No registration required.
