Tai Chi (Yang 24) - This class is “Yang 24” style of Tai Chi. Yang: The Yang style of Tai Chi is the most popular form practiced today and features gentle, large-frame movements. This form is ideal for people who have injuries or prefer a lower impact form of exercise. The 24-posture Simplified Form is sometimes called the “Beijing” or “Peking form” for its place of origin. Yang 24 practices twenty-four unique movements, taking approximately 4 to 6 minutes to perform, thus giving the beginner a chance to learn the foundation and elements of Tai Chi.
