Register for this fun-filled and exciting camp for those aged 13-15 years. By registering, and participating you will receive a HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development Certificate, as well as your Emergency First Aid and Safeguard training. You will spend 2 weekends learning about the City of Cambridge Summer Camps, Safety, Policies & Procedures, and Program Planning. Once successfully completed, you will be given two one-week placements within our Summer Camp Operations where you will earn up to 40 hours per week for your Community Service Hours, as well as be ready to apply as a Camp Leader in years to come! L.I.T.'s act as assistants to Camp Leaders, and will have the opportunity to put their classroom knowledge into a practical setting. Some responsibilities will include programming for campers, assisting in water activities, and participate in off-site excursions. It is an exciting and rewarding experience appropriate for those who enjoy working with children.
Placement: to be determined at training. Fee includes all training materials.
