Description
Over five dynamic days, explore landscape painting through the lens of historical and contemporary masters. Working in acrylic or gouache on paper, students will investigate color, composition, and expressive brushwork while experimenting with fresh approaches to the landscapes around us. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Matisse, Cézanne, and Van Gogh, alongside contemporary painters Jonas Wood, Daniel Heidkamp, and David Hockney, each day introduces new artists and techniques through guided, fast-paced studio projects. This immersive workshop is designed to spark creativity, encourage experimentation, and support the development of a confident, personal approach to landscape painting. See STUDENT SUPPLY LIST in Notes section below. Register at least one week prior to course start date to avoid course cancellation due to low registration. Instructor: Celan Bouillet.
