Description

This fun class will introduce you to one of the oldest forms of dance. Learn how to isolate specific body parts and muscle groups and transition into basic dance movements, all set to traditional ethnic music focusing on Egyptian techniques. Learn how to shimmy like the pros! No experience necessary.

It is recommended that students wear comfortable clothes to workout/dance in. This class does not require special shoes as it is primarily taught bare foot or in socks but if you require orthotics, soft flat dance shoes such as jazz shoes or ballet practice shoes are recommended. Students are also requested to bring a scarf or something to tie around their hips and their own water bottle. Students are also welcome to bring a small notebook if they choose but not required.
