Line to Design Series

We are providing a space to explore your creative side. Come join a series of art and design sessions to get those creative juices going and thinking outside the 'box'. Participants are given an image for inspiration and a template to trace. Templates will be based on ornaments, book jackets, gift tags, bookmarks, t-shirts and different shapes like pyramids, cubes, etc. There will be different types of shapes, so you can see how your illustrations will 'flow' from side to side and top to bottom. From there, you will be encouraged to create artwork.

A light box will be available for tracing. You can use pen and ink, watercolours, watercolour pencils, etc.

No design experience necessary. Come and have fun.

There will be a volunteer onsite assisting during the session but this series is an opportunity to explore your creativity independently.
