Designed for the curious and intrepid, this workshop celebrates the art of documenting life on the move. Participants will craft their own Midori-style traveller’s journal, a versatile companion built to endure years of adventures and evolving stories.
Over the course of the session, participants will learn to work with quality leather, shaping and finishing it into a durable journal cover that develops a rich patina over time. Participants will also master how to stitch refillable booklets, allowing pages to be swapped in and out as each journey is completed. This modular design ensures the journal grows with the participants, trip after trip.
With its balance of rugged practicality and timeless style, the Midori-style journal is as adaptable as the traveler who carries it. By the end of the workshop, participants will leave with a fully assembled, road-ready travel journal, perfect for maps, tickets, sketches, and reflections collected along the way.
