1:1 Support for Day Camps

THIS DESIGNATED REGISTRATION IS FOR CHILDREN WHO REQUIRE ADDITIONAL SUPPORT IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR CAMP.

Access staff work alongside Camp/Program Leaders to help create an inclusive environment in programming for a participant with support needs. They provide direct supervision to the participant and aid in any behaviour management, transitions, creating adaptations to activities, and encouraging independence.

Once registered, the Access Services Team will contact you to determine camp location. Children will be placed into camp based on support needs and availability. Applicable camp fees will be required at upon registration. Burnaby provides 1:1 support for up to 4 weeks per year per participant.

Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis; please place your child on the 1:1 Support waitlist if program is full.
