Topics covered include route selection, risk reduction, essential gear, camp set up, canoe packing, and leave no trace principles. After this workshop, the novice paddler will be confident canoeing in the wilderness and be able to enjoy the wonders of nature safely. Note: this workshop does not include any canoeing.
