Learn how to make traditional Mexican tamales in this hands‑on, small‑group workshop.
You’ll mix and season a soft masa dough, learn how to prepare and handle corn husks, and practice spreading, filling, and folding techniques to create beautifully wrapped tamales.
The pork filling will be prepared ahead of time by the instructor, so you can focus on mastering the assembly process and understanding the cultural traditions behind this beloved dish.
Once the tamales are steamed, we’ll enjoy fresh, hot tamales together with agua de jamaica and a simple pico de gallo salsa. You’ll also take home the tamales you made in class — perfect for sharing or freezing.
Just bring a tupperware container to take your extra tamales home in.
