Description

Learn the fundamentals of compound lifting and see the benefits!
This three-part training program focuses on learning, practicing, and mastering the big 6 compound exercises (squats, deadlifts, bench press, overhead press, bent over row and pull ups). Learn the correct muscle groups to use, proper form, and modifications for each exercise. By training multiple muscle groups at once you will burn calories, improve intramuscular connection, core strength, balance, functional strength, muscular strength, and build more muscle mass along the way.

This is part 2 of a three-part compound lifting program. This session focuses on bench press and overhead shoulder press. Knowing the correct form is essential for feeling more comfortable in the gym. If you’ve ever asked yourself; where should the bar hit my chest in a bench press? Where should I place my hands on the bar? Should I arch my back or keep it flat? This is the class for you! Our knowledgeable instructor will guide you through how to move properly through both a bench press and overhead press while providing helpful tips and guidance along the way to ensure you are confident about each exercise.

Completion of the PAR-Q+ form is required to participate. Please see details below.
