Description
Immerse yourself in a week of creative exploration with this summer watercolour painting course. Designed for painters with prior watercolour experience, this intensive program focuses on refining techniques while exploring a variety of subjects, including landscapes, still life, and outdoor sketching. Each day introduces a new painting, guided by demonstrations and individualized instruction to help you strengthen your skills in composition, colour mixing, brushwork, and light.
Participants will have the opportunity to work both in-studio using photo references and outdoors, capturing the natural beauty and charm of local settings such as Deer Lake Park and the Burnaby Village Museum.
By the end of the week, students will have completed a diverse body of work and gained practical techniques to continue their watercolour practice. See STUDENT SUPPLY LIST in Notes section below. Instructor: Julieann McGuinness
