Windrow Clearing Program - Reduced Fee for Eligible Residents

If you meet the eligibility criteria below, please complete this reduced-fee application form. Residents who do not meet the eligibility criteria can apply through the standard windrow clearing program application form ($150 fee). The City offers a 50 per cent fee reduction for eligible residents enrolled in the Windrow Clearing Program. Under the program, crews will clear windrows within 32 hours after snowfalls of 7.5 cm+ have ended and within eight hours after all residential roads have been plowed. Residents may qualify for the 50 per cent fee reduction if they meet one or more of the following criteria: - Are 65 years of age or older - Have a disability or physical limitation that prevents them from clearing the windrow themselves, and there is no able-bodied person between 16 and 65 years of age living at the property - Receive Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) or Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) benefits - Are enrolled in the City's Recreation Fee Assistance Program or Transit Low Income Pass Program
