Description
The City of Burlington Recreation Community and Culture department is offering a Leadership Course Pathway program for individuals interested in working in Aquatics as a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor. This is a unique opportunity to gain recognized certifications, hands-on experience and guaranteed part-time flexible daytime employment for the 2026-27 Fall, Winter Spring seasons. The courses will be offered at no cost to successful candidates.
What's included: Successful candidates will receive FREE training and earn the following certifications: Standard First Aid with CPR C, National Lifeguard Pool, Lifesaving Swim Instructor, Lifesaving Society Instructor and EFA Instructor, Airway Management and High Five.
