Leaders in Training - Next Generation

An evolution of the Leaders in Training program. Take the next step in your leadership journey! The Next Gen program is designed for young teens who are ready to build confidence, gain valuable life skills, and take on new responsibilities. Throughout this 3-week program, participants will develop teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills while learning what it takes to be an effective leader in a camp setting. Next Gens will use the skills learned during a one-week placement which will take place during the third week of program. This placement will allow Next Gens to collect 37.5 volunteer hours. Next Gens will also earn recognized certifications, including: Babysitting Course Certificate – Learn the basics of caring for children safely and responsibly. HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Child Development – Understand how to create positive experiences for kids in recreation and camp programs. Standard First Aid & CPR Certification – Gain practical lifesaving skills and confidence to respond in emergencies.
