Description
Unleash your creativity using acrylics. Paint two acrylic paintings using a variety of mark making techniques. Learn how to create exciting abstract paintings using a composition, colour palettes and a variety of techniques. You will need to bring your own supplies. A supply list will be emailed upon registration.
Please note: This class will be held at Doug Snooks Eagle Place Community Centre, 333 Erie Ave.
Supplies can be purchased at Staples or Michael's.
2 canvases 12 x 16 or 11 x 14
Basic colours:
- cadmium red
- alizarin crimson
- cobalt or ultramarine blue
- cadmium yellow
- cerulean or other warm blue
- black
- white
Brushes
- large brush (at least one inch wide)
- medium brush (half inch)
- small round brush for blending or lines (apron. #8)
- disposable palette pad
- a couple of plastic cups
- palette knife of your choice
- water container
- old rag and paper towel
- oven liner or something to catch drips
