Description

Join us for a fun and informative pre-program event for our participants in Skating 1 and 1A of our Learn to Skate Program. Participants are welcome to bring their own gear if they have it to ensure the perfect fit, but if not, we’ll have equipment available for you to try on before making any purchases. This is a chance to ensure a great fit, meet our staff, ask questions, and get a feel for the program while you get set for success on the ice. Participants can drop in to have the fit of equipment checked. Please note that participants will not be going on the ice for this program. Reminder about require and recommend equipment for our Learn to Skate program participants. Required Equipment: All participants must wear single bladed skates and a Canadian Standard Association (CSA) certified hockey helmet. Please ensure skates are sharpened. Double-bladed skates are not permitted. Recommended Equipment: Facemasks are strongly recommended for all participants. Mittens or gloves, and warm clothes including snow pants or slush pants are highly recommended.
