Description
This course combines Lifesaving Society Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, and Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C and AED certifications into one course and is designed for those with strong swimming abilities who are looking to fast-track their certifications for employment purposes. The endurance swim for Bronze Cross is 400m in 11 minutes. Candidates have the opportunity to gain all 3 awards upon successful completion of all required components.
Candidates must provide proof of identification (valid government ID with full legal name, and birth date) and proof of the following prerequisites: 13 years of age by the last day of the course OR Bronze Star certification (does not need to be current), on the first day of the course.
Required Materials: Canadian Lifesaving Manual, Canadian First Aid Manual, Bronze Medallion Workbook, and Bronze Cross Workbook will be charged at the time of registration. Participants will also require a whistle.
Required Fees: Candidates will be charged the price of the exam fee required by the Lifesaving Society upon registration.
Course Schedule:
Fridays: 4:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Saturdays: 10:00 am – 8:30 pm
Sundays : 10:00 am – 8:30 pm
