Description
Participants will be introduced to surface transitions, backward two-foot glides on a curve, backward one-foot glides on a curve, backward sculling on a curve, two-foot slaloms, backward mohawk turns, and will further develop their backwards skating, stops, and crossovers.
Due to the duration length of this program, participants under ten (10) years of age do not need to be accompanied in the program. However, parents/guardians are expected to remain at the program location for its duration in the event their immediate assistance is required.
Prerequisites: Inline Skating Level 2
Required Equipment: All participants must wear a Canadian Standard Association (CSA) certified hockey helmet. Facemasks are strongly recommended for all participants. All participants must also wear wrist guards, elbow pads and knee pads. Strongly recommend inline blades with a heel stopper.
This program occurs outdoors, please dress for the weather. This program may be cancelled due to the weather.
