Description

The Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard (Pool Option) Re-Exam is for participants who have recently failed a National Lifeguard (Pool Option). Eligible candidates will receive a National Lifeguard Re-Exam Eligibility Verification Application at the end of their National Lifeguard Course. This form needs to be submitted directly to the Lifesaving Society by the participant in order to receive their Re-Exam Verification Letter. The Re-Exam Verification Letter must be presented to the Examiner at the start the re-exam. The re-exam will assess all items from the National Lifeguard Award curriculum. Candidates must provide proof of identification (valid government ID with full legal name, and birth date) and proof of the following prerequisites: Bronze Cross and Standard First Aid certifications (does not need to be current) AND Re-exam Verification Letter from the Lifesaving Society, on the day of the course. Required Materials: A whistle Recommended Materials: Lunch (there will be a break for lunch)
