Camp hours are from 9:00am-4:00pm.
Before and After Care (7:30-9:00am and 4:00-6:00pm) is available for an extra fee.
Late pick-up fees may apply.
Campers may be grouped based on age and ability.
Please ensure your phone number and email is updated in your City of Brampton xplor account for communication purposes.
Campers must bring a nut-free lunch and snacks, a reusable water bottle and wear comfortable outdoor/weather appropriate clothing.
Have all items labelled with child's name. Leave all valuables at home, the City of Brampton is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Campers may also participate in various camp activities such as cooperative games, sports, crafts and water activities. These activities vary by location.
Campers will use the Microsoft MakeCode platform for block based coding and the BBC micro:bit microcontroller to learn about coding and programming as well as inputs and outputs. Campers will code and learn to make practical projects including step counters, nightlights, and games.
Campers will learn how we can monitor our use of energy and use this to make decisions about how we can save energy, save money and have a positive impact on climate change. They will use micro:bits to learn how to monitor electric light use, learn about how to collect good data and present it in order to help inform decisions about changing behaviours.
