Description
July 13 to 17, 2026 is Brampton Honey Badgers Camp Week. All campers will attend a Brampton Honey Badgers basketball game at the CAA Centre on July 14th. Campers will receive a t-shirt, participate in themed activities, and receive a visit from the Honey Badgers mascot throughout the week. Camps running from July 13 to 17, 2026 include an additional fee for the game ticket, popcorn, transportation to and from the CAA Centre, t-shirt, and activities.
Campers will work with the 123 Robot through story-based labs that introduce vocabulary, functions and features of the robot in order to complete coding challenges while practicing addition skills. They will go on to learn how the debugging process works as well as how to identify and fix bugs in codes. They will then transition from touch button coding to using the coder and coder cards to create projects to drive the robot while investigating how programming languages are set of rules where symbols represent actions and actions become the behaviour of the robot.
Campers may also participate in various camp activities such as cooperative games, sports, water activities and crafts. These activities vary by location.
